Promoting independent arts and culture – program entails providing assistance for the independent art and culture scene in BiH, developed in parallel with other activities of the organization.
The program implemented cultural activities and supported other organizations and groups in the fields of arts and culture. In the initial stages the program functioned in the framework of activities by the “Equipa” organization and in cooperation with other artists and cultural workers launched “Ekipa” Foundation.
The program implemented the following activities among others:
- Regional peace music festival – 2006 held in Sarajevo
- Compilation of peace and activists songs from the region and organizing several concerts – Rhythm Changes
- Supporting independent festivals (2005-2008) – festival “Interground”, “(A) je to!”, “Pitchwise”, “Punkership for Peace”, “Aprilili”, “Dani kulture u Novom Sarajevu”
- Intercultural exchange between BiH and other European countries Barcelona-Mostar-Sarajevo (2000-2001) – promoting reconciliation processes through the exchange of experiences by 15 youths traveling together in the mentioned cities.
