Campaign \u201eBudi gra\u0111anin\/gra\u0111anka \u2013 Za BiH bez diskriminacije!\u201c (Be a citizen \u2013 BiH without discrimination), by Coalition \u201cJednakost\u201d (Equality), is conducting a photo campaign of public figures who do not support the current discriminatory system in BiH. Support for the photo-campaign was given by public figures from all walks of life, including musicians, actors, film directors, professors, journalists, and others whose photos can be seen on web page<\/a>\u00a0 the of the campaign.<\/p>\n

Support for the campaign was given by Sarajevo actor Mladen Jeli\u010di\u0107 Troko<\/b>, stating\u00a0that he identifies as a Bosnian of citizen orientation.<\/p>\n

\u201eI want to live in a country of equal persons, without racism, xenophobia, and anti-Semitism. All people are my friends except those who don\u2019t want to be\u201d <\/i><\/b>stated Troko.<\/p>\n

Of the similar opinion is Sarajevo film director Sr\u0111an Vuleti\u0107<\/b>, stating\u00a0\u201eI am still naive and believe that people should only be divided by good and bad\u201c<\/i><\/b>.<\/i><\/p>\n

Actor\u00a0Senad Ba\u0161i\u0107 <\/b>stated\u201d every unchecked nationalism is the greatest evil that can find man \u201c<\/i><\/b>.<\/p>\n

Film director\u00a0Tanja Mileti\u0107-Oru\u010devi\u0107<\/b>\u00a0supports the campaign and states \u201ethe basis of the BiH political system, which recognizes only collective rights, and only for the members of the three constituent peoples, is in its core discriminatory. \u201c<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201eThey created a system to discriminate others, anyone with a different identity. As a citizen and artist I will always protest against such terror\u201d<\/i><\/b> stated Tanja Mileti\u0107-Oru\u010devi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Sarajevo actor and comedian, Mirza Tanovi\u0107<\/b>\u00a0that BiH without discrimination represents his long held belief.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never recognized nations and races. During the 80-s I made fun of nationalism. In 1992 people started killing each other for reasons I made fun of earlier\u201d, <\/i><\/b>stated Tanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy personal motive for giving support to this campaign is due to a sense of justice and elementary human rights for personal, gender, national, class, religious, professional and every other form of equality. To be on the side of those who are discriminated and disparaged is my basic duty as a citizen of this country\u201d<\/i><\/b>, stated the director of the\u00a0Center for contemporary art in Sarajevo\u00a0Dunja Bla\u017eevi\u0107<\/b>.<\/p>\n

President of the \u201cKali Sara\u201d association, Dervo Sejdi\u0107, states that \u201conly in a BiH of equal citizens does he feel equal and safe\u201d.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Support for the campaign was also given by journalists\u00a0Almir Terzi\u0107, Zoran \u0106ati\u0107, Dario Novali\u0107, Vildana Selimbegovi\u0107 and Mimo \u0160ahinpa\u0161i\u0107<\/b>, director of NGO Gariwo\u00a0Svetlana Broz,\u00a0<\/b>executive director of the Human Rights House\u00a0Sr\u0111an Dizdarevi\u0107<\/b>, and many others whose photographs you can see in the gallery<\/a>.<\/p>\n
