“Glasometar” application has been used for the past twenty days since its launch by over 12,000 users. “Glasometar” enabled voters to see to what extent their opinions on public issues are aligned with political parties\u2019 programs and actions.<\/p>\n
Regarding users\u2019 demographics, the questionnaire was filled in by people from most of BiH municipalities, living mostly in the cities and larger centers. Ethnic structure was also diverse: 60% of Bosniaks, 11% of Serbs, 7% of Croats, and 16% of those didn\u2019t identify themselves as members of any of the three constituent peoples. 6% of users didn\u2019t answer the ethnicity question. In terms of education levels, the majority of users has secondary or higher education.<\/p>\n
Users highly agreed on several issues, and it is interesting to see which one should be the priorities of the next government.<\/p>\n
Regarding the questions the greatest number of users agrees on, it’s the abolition of the constitutional provision that prevents reduction of salaries to MPs during the term, and 90% of users were for the abolition of this constitutional provision. In response to several other questions more than 80% of users agreed also that the differentiated VAT rate should be introduced, that everyone should have access to treatment and health care across the whole country, that illegally acquired assets should be confiscated, that the EU integration should be priority in any case, and that strengthening of the position of the court and the prosecutor’s office is at high importance. Also, high number of users disagreed with the fact that personal identification number including information about entity, and with the possibility of creating a third entity.<\/p>\n
The important notice is that users mostly answered all the questions, and it is difficult to differentiate issues that are more important to users than others.<\/p>\n
“Glasometar” will be active in the remaining period to the General Election, and will continue to give the possibility to check voters\u2019 compliance with the opinions and attitudes of political parties, making them better informed and more willing to go to <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
