The event was organized by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.crpm.org.mk\/\">Center for Research and Policy Making<\/a>\u00a0(CRPM) in cooperation with the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mio.gov.mk\/\">Ministry of Information Society and Administration<\/a>\u00a0in the framework of the \u201cAdvocacy for Open Government Partnership\u201d project funded by the European Union and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/world\/organisations\/british-embassy-skopje\">British Embassy in Skopje<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Forum brought\u00a0together international and domestic representatives from civil society, government and business and stir discussion along the\u00a0following topics:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>National and local level initiatives on OGP \u2013 comparative perspectives;<\/li>\n<li>OGP \u2013 an avenue for linking government and the business community through open data;<\/li>\n<li>Inter-institutional communication and cooperation with CSOs \u2013 a value added.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Forum featured three panels.\u00a0Veronica Cretu, President of the\u00a0Open Government Institute Moldova, was invited to present during the third panel focusing on the different frameworks for inter-institutional cooperation. Mrs. Cretu joined remotely and her video intervention can be accessed here:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gnkBiJ_kaSY\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A note on the project \u201cAdvocacy for open government: civil society agenda setting and monitoring of implementation of national action plans\u201d is funded by the EU and coordinated through the PASOS network of policy institutes. It has so far provided baseline study and tracked change of citizens\u2019 perception on OGP in the Western Balkan region; facilitated coalition building between civil society organizations in the seven priority areas of OGP and has fostered public dialogue with Government with an aim for civil society to have greater impact on the policy agenda set with the adoption of the new country action plans for Open Government.<\/p>\n<p>(opengov.si.md)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November 26, 2014 is a day in which Macedonia organized its first ever National Open Government Partnership Forum.
