FCST 18 sparked an interest among fact-checkers, journalists, researchers, and representatives of NGO\u2019s.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/zastone.ba\/app\/uploads\/2018\/11\/45390546_10156620507472319_8857578756110286848_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During November 1-2, 2018 active and aspiring fact-checkers from Turkey, the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and the Caucasus gathered in Antalya to participate in\u00a0the first fact-checking summit in this region focusing on regional needs and priorities for fact-checking. Head of Istinomjer, our colleague\u00a0Aida Ajanovi\u0107, attended this event.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers of the summit,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.izlemedeyiz.org\/en\">On Watch Association<\/a>\u00a0and its projects\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dogrulukpayi.com\/\">Do\u011fruluk Pay\u0131<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.verikaynagi.com\/\">Veri Kayna\u011f\u0131<\/a>\u00a0offered the participants two days of panels, workshops, and side events.
