{"id":5753,"date":"2019-03-27T15:17:40","date_gmt":"2019-03-27T15:17:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zastone.ba\/?p=5753"},"modified":"2019-03-27T15:29:01","modified_gmt":"2019-03-27T15:29:01","slug":"raskrinkavanje-and-istinomjer-in-the-ifcn-advisory-board","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zastone.ba\/en\/raskrinkavanje-and-istinomjer-in-the-ifcn-advisory-board\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Raskrinkavanje&#8221; and &#8220;Istinomjer&#8221; in the IFCN Advisory Board"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Advisory board of International fact-checking network (IFCN) has a new member from the SEE region, Tijana Cvjeti\u0107anin from \u201cIstinomjer\u201d and \u201cRaskrinkavanje\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Baybars \u00d6rsek of the Turkish fact-checker \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dogrulukpayi.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do\u011fruluk Pay\u0131<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d, has recently <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.poynter.org\/news-release\/2019\/poynters-international-fact-checking-network-hires-new-director-and-associate-director\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">become <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the new director of IFCN, thus resigning his membership in the network\u2019s advisory board. Tijana Cvjeti\u0107anin, one of the founders of BiH-based fact checking platforms \u201c<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/istinomjer.ba\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Istinomjer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d and \u201c<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/raskrinkavanje.ba\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Raskrinkavanje<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d (both run by UG \u201cZa\u0161to ne\u201d), was elected to take his place at the board.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aside from her fact checking work, Tijana has authored and co-authored several research studies in the areas like political accountability, media analysis, media freedoms, EU integrations and government opennes. Since last year, Tijana is also the lead editor of an international fact checking project &#8220;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/newsmavens.com\/topics\/femfacts\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FemFacts<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8221; on NewsMavens\u2019 platform, which analysies media reports about women, women\u2019s issues and gender equality in European media. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IFCN has another new member after Peter Cunliffe-Jones, founder of \u201c<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/africacheck.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Africa Check<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d, stepped off the position of the project\u2019s director.
