Sofija joined the “Zašto ne” Citizens’ Association in March 2022, where she works as an Executive Producer. She is responsible for event production, office management, and project coordination.

She has several years of relevant experience in project management, public relations, and event management – from concept development to implementation. She gained experience in project writing and communication strategies at the BORAM agency, where she worked for four years as a communications and event manager, overseeing advocacy campaigns and initiatives, drafting communication plans, and organizing and producing events.

Through various projects, she has collaborated with numerous organizations, such as the EU Delegation to BiH, the Office of the EU Special Representative, UNICEF, UNDP, RYCO, GIZ, IOM, and NGOs including KOMA, ICVA, YIHR, KULT, Perpetuum Mobile, Rights for All, FSU, and JaBiHEU.

At the age of 17, she served as president of the Red Cross Youth Club in Pale. She is actively involved in many NGOs as a communication expert and trainer on topics such as public speaking, advocacy initiatives, media campaigns, stigmatization of marginalized groups, and youth education.

She holds a degree from the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, Department of Marketing.
