TV Istinomjer: how to fight against fake-news

From May 24th to 28th, in Sarajevo, the sixth POINT conference was held in Sarajevo, which brought together representatives of civil society organizations and activists from the region of Eastern and Northern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, as well as other parts of the world, who are using new advocacy technologies aiming responsible, transparent and secure society. Through over 20 panel discussions and presentations of the conferences, they dealt with the highest-quality world and regional topics such as the US and the region’s elections, Brexit, challenges such as fighting against violent online extremism, internet harassment, privacy protection, and many others. The topic of this year’s conference was also false news, or how to fight them, and this is what the latest editions of TV Istinomera say about this.
