Workshop on the use of new technologies by the civil society for 12 women’s organizations from BiH
The “Kvina Till Kvina” organization held a workshop on the use of new technologies by the civil society as a part of the seminar for women partner organizations in BiH. Darko Brkan from the NGO „Why not“ led the 2 hours workshop.
During the workshop the basic characteristics of the online presence of civil society organizations were presented, detailed steps in planning IT projects of the civil society organizations were defined, guidelines on the characteristics of a good Web site were provided, and basic tips and rules in the use of new technologies were processed.
In the second part of the workshop there was a discussion on the measurement of online presence and goals, followed by a presentation of campaigns on social networks, via e-mail, portals and more. The workshop was followed by many practical examples and during a significant part of the workshop the participants received specific advice on their particular cases.
Among others, the workshop was attended by the organization Buducnost from Modrica, CURE from Sarajevo, the Center for Legal Assistance from Zenica, Duvanjke from Tomislavgrad, Women’s Forum from Bratunac, Horizons from Tuzla, Lara from Bijeljena, Most from Visegrad, Women for Women from Sarajevo, the Women’s Centre from Trebinje and HCA from Banja Luka.
