Only seven days to POINT 3.0

point-audience-300x199The third edition of POINT conference will start in exactly seven days on Thursday, May 22nd in Art kino Kriterion in Sarajevo and it will last till Saturday, May 24th. POINT (Political Accountability and New Technologies) gives three days opportunity to hear great speakers, presentations and panel discussions, to participate in workshops and projections.

During POINT 3.0, guests will share their experiences, it will be among others, Michael Slaby, Director of Technology of Barack Obama election campaign 2008, Chris Albon representing Ushahidi, Sultan Al-Qassemi, one of the most influential bloggers and analysts of Middle East, Anna Babiniets representing YanukovychLeaks, Ekaterina Patyulina, which was working on the internet campaign of Alexey Navalny for the mayor of Moscow and Erkan Saka and Asli Tunc from Bilgy University in Turkey.

During the panel discussions we will talk about the up to date topics of open government, monitoring of authorities in the times of elections, digital strategies in political campaigns and using satire and humor for political activism. As like during the previous editions, we will talk about the hot topics from the world of politics and technology, including the stories from Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Egipt, Middle Ease, Baltic region, the USA and from the other, no less interesting, locations.

POINT 3.0 will also host exhibitions of young artists from BiH and from the region – Nemanja Čađo, Andrijana Vešović and Majda Ljubuškić. On the first day of the conference during the evening party will be hosting DJ duo from Berlin, Gebruder Teichmann, with the support of Jasmine and DJ duo Clemens and Monsieur Jacques from Sarajevo.
