POINT 8.0 – Apply for a Travel and Accommodation Fellowship

POINT Conference (Political Accountability and New Technologies) is a project of ACTION SEE regional network that comes out of growing need of the organizations in the region that work on accountability and transparency of governments to share experiences and learn about different initiatives around the world.

The participation at the POINT conference offers possibility of learning about initiatives that are involved in political accountability projects, open data in democracy, technology tools for transparency and accountability, current events and the impact of technology. POINT is a great place for networking and potential cooperation with some of more than 200 participants that visit the conference annually and it also offers peer to peer learning during the workshops and bunch of entertainment during the POINT night program.


You can apply for travel and accommodation fellowships if you are coming from the following countries in Balkans:

  • Albania
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Kosovo
  • North Macedonia
  • Montenegro
  • Serbia

Please send your submission using the short form explaining why you want to participate in the conference. If you have an idea for a presentation please see our open call for speakers.


Important information!

 

  • The deadline for submissions is April 1st 2019
  • The event will take place in Sarajevo from 16th to 19th of May 2019
  • If you need a visa to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina, we will help you in obtaining it
  • The working language of the conference is English

POINT conference is organized by Regional Network Action SEE created by CA Why not (UG Zašto ne) from BiH, Center for Research on Transparency and Accountability (CRTA) from Serbia, Metamorphosis Foundation from North Macedonia, and Center for Democratic Transition (CDT) from Montenegro.
