Presentation of TechCamp for civil society organizations in BiH

camptekArt cinema Kriterion in Sarajevo hosted representatives of  UG „Zašto ne“ which introduced TechCamp for other civil society organizations in BiH on 18th and 19th of October. The presentation was held for a dozen non-governmental organizations and featured goals for activities in the upcoming month.

During the presentation, Darko Brkan, director of UG Zašto ne stated that the event gathered leaders of civil society active in IT areas from BiH, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia with the aim of offering actors of civil society to research new technologies and tools used for advancing their activities.

TechCamp is organized around the world with the support of the United States Department of State as the main activity by the Initiative 2.0 for civil society by Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.

Today’s presentation featured participation by civil society organizations in BiH, including ACIPS, Citizen Action, Center for Investigative Journalism (CIN), YIHR, OneWorld SEE.
