PravoDaZnam.ba (Right to Know) is a web portal for assisting the public with utilizing the freedom of information act in BiH. This portal is fully automatized which allows the public to send requests to access government information via email.

The project for launching a web portal for assisting the public with the freedom of information act is a project our organization put forward in order to foster transparency of government institutions as an initial step towards the goal of establishing Open Government Data initiative in BiH. This initiative will provide proactive publishing of all relevant information on government functions and also introduce modern levels of transparency.

Web portal for assisting the public with utilizing the freedom of information act was modeled after the www.whatdotheyknow.com  web portal developed by MySociety (www.mysociety.org) from the United Kingdom in cooperation with associations from Spain, Kosovo, UK, Norway and other countries.
