TV Istinomjer: Foreigners are accustomed to being lied to

Fullscreen capture 3.3.2014 141310Seeing that the House of Peoples of PA of Bosnia and Herzegovina haven’t been able to adopt, even with a delay, amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH, our country could soon be put on the blacklist of the Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism (MONEYVAL) which operates under the mandate of the Council of Europe. The adoption of these amendments, together with the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, which was adopted on June 6, even thought the deadline was the first of June this year is the condition for BiH to stay out of the blacklist. As this did not happen, our country is faced with a threat of being put on the blacklist of the Committee, which can greatly hamper financial transactions with foreign countries.
